Indicator’s Purpose
The indicator measures the number of people who benefit (or are likely to benefit) from the services provided by the supported self-help groups.
How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data
1) Review relevant documentation (e.g. membership list) of functioning self-help groups in order to count the number of people who receive certain benefits from their services or will receive them when required (e.g. before a family member's funeral).
Disaggregate by
Disaggregate the data by gender.

1) To determine which self-help group is "functioning", use guidance provided in "Self-Help Groups - Functionality" indicator.
