What is its purpose?

Measure the relative amount of budget allocated to local partners. The indicator value must be reported in the Quarterly Country Report.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

  1. Extract from financial system: total realized country budget during the previous quarter
  2. Extract from financial system: total realized country budget to local partner during the previous quarter (relevant search command: BVA-Partner type)
  3. Calculate the indicator value: [total realized country budget to local partner] / [total realized country budget] * 100%

Disaggregate by

Leadership of the organization: women / men / youth.

Important Comments

  • ZOA’s local partners: these are all actors that ZOA has a contractual agreement with and that receive a share of the available funding to deliver (humanitarian) assistance.
  • Local and national non-state actors are “organizations engaged in relief that are headquartered and operating in their own aid recipient country and which are not affiliated to an international NGO”. National and sub-national state actors are “state authorities of the affected aid recipient country engaged in relief, whether at local or national level.” (IASC-HFTT definitions)
