What is its purpose?

Measure the relative amount of budget allocated to local groups. The indicator value must be reported in the Quarterly Country Report.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

  1. Extract from financial system: total realized country budget during the previous quarter
  2. Extract from financial system: total country budget allocated in cash to local groups during the previous quarter 
  3. Calculate the indicator value: [cash to local groups] / [total realized country budget] * 100%

Important Comments

  • Local groups’ mean: groups of more than 1 household or persons (cash distributed to individuals or individual households should not be included);
  • Budget utillised by ZOA is not to be counted (e.g. indirect activity costs like salary or logistics)
  • Cash distributions to local groups contributes to strengthening local ownership.
