What is its purpose?

This indicator aims to measure the perception of the population in the targeted area who perceive a reduction in violence.

How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data

This indicator requires a quantitative, individual questionnaire. Question to be asked:

Do you feel that the prevalence of conflicts in your community/village has increased or decreased since last year? (answering options: very much decreased - decreased - the same - increased - very much increased.

 

Disaggregate by

sex

if relevant: ethnic or religious group, age

Important Comments

Follow up question can be: 

If increased/decreased: what type of conflicts have increased/decreased? and why, what has led to this increase or decrease?
