Shelter Protection

The indicator measures the extent to which the target households applied the recommended measures for making their dwelling less vulnerable to the identified hazards (such as structural improvements in its construction or changes in the dwelling's surrounding environment).

Collect the data by using the following methods: review of secondary documents (e.g. project reports), interviews with key informants (construction workers/companies, village disaster management committee members, local authorities, etc.) and quantitative survey among a representative sample of the target population (involving also observations of the conducted measures).

Disaggregate the data by the wealth category.
